Christopher Weber Architects produces highly detailed and thoroughly coordinated architectural designs for exceptional homes. “Design for how you live” has been the firm’s mission since its recent founding in 2019. Home design is intensely personal, and we are focused on understanding the needs of our clients and delivering quality work, on time and within budget. Our practice includes architecture, landscape design and interior architecture. We are looking for an exceptionally talented, intelligent, organized, and creative architect to join the firm as a Job Captain.
Candidates must:
Excel at building trust and confidence with clients, builders, and other designers.
Have a good eye for beautiful design and take immense pride in their own creativity.
Have clear and concise written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.
Excel at building modeling and construction documentation in Revit and Enscape.
Be registered California architects with a thorough understanding of residential building systems and construction methods. Candidates on track for licensure may also be considered.
Be experienced enough to manage a project in any phase of design or construction with assistance from the Principal Architect.
Christopher Weber Architects offers highly competitive salary, benefits, profit sharing, and commuter assistance. Employees will work in the CWA studio, located in the Flood Building at Maket & Powell Streets, in San Francisco. This is not a remote (work from home) position.

Granite Bay Retreat: Remodel of a unique courtyard home and guest house (in Construction Documents Phase).
Napa Hilltop Retreat: Two-phased new construction of a primary residence and guest house on a rural hilltop overlooking Lake Berryessa. (in Design Development Phase).
Pacific Heights Residence: Alterations to the ground/main floor and replacement of the rear facade of a San Francisco home (in Schematic Design Phase).
SoMa Townhome: Alterations to a two-story condo including replacement of kitchens and bathrooms (in Schematic Design Phase).
Russian Hill Townhome: Alterations to the main floor of a two-story condo, indlucing replacement of the kitchen (in Schematic Design Phase).
Hillsborough Guest House: Addition of a new guest house to an existing residential compound.
